Brunetti's Covers

A beautiful Ivan Brunetti cover titled "Ecosystems" appears on the current issue of The New Yorker (3/2/09). This one's loaded with details, so you really need to see it up close.

His art also graces the cover of the current volume of Ecotone:

[I think this illustration first appeared in an issue of Brunetti's comic Schizo. . .]

Actually this is directed to Tim Hensley, I just do not know how to leave a first in line comment so here it is.
Hello Tim! Splat Winger here (which I hope does not ruin you day). After despairing of life I unexpectedly found myself on a trip to Rosarito Beach, in Baja. Gist of the story is I was so overcome by the horrific plight of dogs down here I was possessed by a desire to help them. I have not left since. I cannot. Helping these de-facto untouchables, except for the touch of endles physical abuse they must endure, is my entire life. Even God has seem to forsaken them. Rescuing starved, unloved, abused dogs pretty much has me living in poverty worse than the average mexican. But I do get to live on the beach, almost like a millionaire minus the money. And I know of nothing more important I could ever do or have done.
Just wanted to say thanks for honoring me by allowing me to be involved with you even if only for a moment in time.

P.S. Mexico is an evil, wicked place with no redeaming qualities. Even their food is a disgrace. San Pedro has much better mexican food.

Thanks, Looka.
The book is the story that appeared in Mome with, yes, a very few other things strewn in.

Hello, Splat. (Bystanders will note that Splat is the figurehead of SplatCo, which released the first Victor Banana album in 1989...)
Haven't heard anything of your exploits till now. Good luck with the dog rescue, sounds like a good TV show. San Pedro has better food than all of Mexico?!

Nino is Diablo 3 itemsdefinitely a pacesetter, but you almost never see your pet staying mentioned, not just by popular lovers, yet specifically not necessarily simply by underground-type comic strips followers. There Cheap wow goldexists a new book with regards to their fine art by Auad.
