(Bystanders will note that Splat is the figurehead of SplatCo, which released the first Victor Banana album in 1989...)
Haven't heard anything of your exploits till now. Good luck with the dog rescue, sounds like a good TV show. Splat Winger here (which I hope does not ruin you day). After despairing of life I unexpectedly found myself on a trip to Rosarito Beach, in Baja. Gist of the story is I was so overcome by the horrific plight of dogs down here I was possessed by a desire to help them. I have not left since. I cannot. Helping these de-facto untouchables, except for the touch of endles physical abuse they must endure, is my entire life. Even God has seem to forsaken them. Rescuing starved, unloved, abused dogs pretty much has me living in poverty worse than the average mexican. But I do get to live on the beach, almost like a millionaire minus the money. And I know of nothing more important I could ever do or have done.
Just wanted to say thanks for honoring me by allowing me to be involved with you even if only for a moment in time.

P.S. Mexico is an evil, wicked place with no redeaming qualities. Even their food is a disgrace. San Pedro has much better mexican food.

Splat

splatwinger@gmail.comAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6765833308080093932.post-51691223252822195022009-03-02T01:07:00.000-08:002009-03-02T01:07:00.000-08:00M-hmmm, I think a subscription model for the New Y...M-hmmm,
I think a subscription model for the New Yorker issues only with cover's by comicworkers is due!

Mr. Hensley: I have been waiting for that book!
